Sara Rue's layered bob haircut looks great on anyone. Begin by working a quarter size amount of straightening balm through damp hair.

Blow-dry with the help of a large round brush, starting with your bangs first.

Wrap them around the brush and apply heat from the roots to the ends of your hair to make tresses smooth.

Curl the ends of your bangs under, towards your forehead. Repeat until they are completely dry, then tousle to the side.

Part hair to one side and continue using the round brush to pull each layer straight, working on two-inch sections of hair at a time.

Repeat until strands are totally dry, then run over two to three inch sections of hair with a flat iron to get a smoother, shinier look.
